On “Earth Day” – 22nd April 2010, a Pledge scroll signed by on lakh school student to save “60 million liters of water annually for the city of Delhi” was presented to Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, Hon’ble President of India at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi.
Club President Rtn. G.S. Singhvi lead a club group of Rotarians accompanied by student from various schools of NCR went to Rashtrapati Bhawan to meet and present the pledge banner to Hon’ble President of India.
Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, Hon’ble President of India lauded the efforts of the Rotary Club and appealed to the entire nation to show concern towards the cause of water conservation.
